Meet at Peterborough Zoo, North Parking Lot
Beginners and families welcome! Discover signs of spring like-waterfowl mating displays. Otters, mink and red fox are also possible. This half day outing, led by Martin Parker, will focus on the waterfowl which overwinter on the open waters of the Otonabee River and Little Lake during the winter months. The variety and number of birds depends on the amount of open water and ice.
Meet in the north parking lot at the Peterborough Zoo, Water Street North at 1:00 p.m. Dress according to the weather forecast for the day of the outing. Bring your binoculars. It will be part of the Heritage Week Activities.
