Ptbo Official Plan Update: Public Open Houses June 4-7

The City of Peterborough’s Planning Division is hosting evening Public Open House sessions from Monday, June 4th to Thursday, June 7th as part of the Official Plan Update process.
Public Open House sessions will be hosted in the evenings to display the daily outcomes of the Community Design Charrette conducted during the daytime. The objective is build on what we have heard from the community so far from the online surveys, pop-up events, and other engagement sessions to refine a vision for built form (such as building types and height), streetscapes, as well as green and public spaces. Residents and other interested parties are invited to attend the evening Open Houses and provide feedback on the outcomes of the Design Charrette.
Public Open House details are as follows:
Dates:  Monday June 4th, 2018 to Thursday June 7th, 2018, inclusive
Time:  Drop-in anytime between 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Peterborough Square, Lower Level, 340 George Street North, Peterborough
The Design Charrette will establish a design framework for how Downtown Peterborough along with six corridors and eight nodes, which have been identified on major City streets, should develop in the future. The results of the Design Charrette will be used to inform architectural and urban design guidelines and will be incorporated into the City’s updated Official Plan.
