Help make Canada’s parks even better!…

Parks Canada has a new online consultation forum — and they want to hear from you!

Let’s Talk Parks, Canada! is an interactive forum where you can add your ideas AND connect with others who care about how to best strengthen Canada’s national parks.

Here’s how to have your say before the forum closes January 27:

1, Type “David Suzuki Foundation” in the search bar in the top left-hand side. We’ve submitted four ideas: “Create parks and marine parks near major urban centers,” “Ensure ecosystem representation”, “Recognize and support areas identified, managed and conserved by indigenous communities” and “Restore Parks Canada funding.” There are other ideas you can rate and comment on, too!
2. Click “Participate” under an idea you like, or click “Login/Registration” and follow the prompts to create an account. Click “Login” to rate, comment, share or follow the ideas there — even create your own
3. Hit “Logout” at the top of the page when you’re done.
4. Be sure to participate and/or submit your ideas before the forum closes January 27, 2017

I support better parks in Canada!

If you live in or near Vancouver, Toronto or Halifax, you can share your views in person! See below for dates and times.

Vancouver: January 18, 2017, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, University of British Columbia The Nest
Toronto: January 21, 2017, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, Toronto International Boat Show Enercare Centre – Exhibition Place

You contribute to this forum. We’ll talk with government. Together, we can make it clear we want Canadian parks that protect nature and provide opportunities for more green time and less screen time.
